Changes to on campus delivery
We, like you, have been closely monitoring the rapid evolution of the COVID-19 landscape in Australia over the last 10 days where the rising case numbers and difficulties in accessing testing has had a major impact on all of us.
First and foremost, we hope you and your communities are safe and well and encourage you to reach out to our support services if you feel it could help. Further, we thank you for the considered questions that have been made of the College – notably how we will minimise transmission risk on campus, manage attendance requirements and be able to ensure our staff are available to complete teaching given the close contact isolation requirements and problems with access to testing. These are exactly the questions we have been working hard to resolve as things change each day.
We had desperately hoped that 2022 would be a return to some semblance of pre-pandemic normality and, whilst it still appears positive that will be the case later in the year, the next 90 days unfortunately look like being a continuation of the stress and uncertainty. As such and in order to protect the safety of our students, staff and wider communities whilst providing the best possible opportunity for student progression through your qualifications, we have had to suspend all face to face delivery.
The campus at this stage is planned to re-open on 1st March 2022, pending a review nearer the time and advice from the Department of Health. Please reach out if you have any questions about your course.
